School is considered to be the
second home for our children and so the importance of teachers comes in here.
This is because in a day the child remains the maximum hours in the school and
teachers play a vital role in building the character of the child. This is why
a good working relationship with the teacher is said to be very important.
As teachers assess student’s
ability and concern in the first week at school, it is very important for the
child for the future at school and the career thereafter. At the same time,
even children make new friends and try to learn more about their teacher.
Parents can stand for their child to help the teacher know more about their kid
by talking to them about what they are good at, what are the weak points, what
has to be taught to them and even about learning difficulties if any for them.

operation and support from your end for the well being and education of your
child. An attempt to come over to the classroom to help with the bulletin
board, copy making and to set learning centres can be said to be a kind of
involvement with the teachers in school. On the other hand, if you are in short
of time to volunteer for all this it is always better not to promise any such
things and is much better than breaking promises.
You can provide them your number
to be contacted at any time for any help needed. Put it into their minds that
you are ready to do anything to have a successful year in the school for your
child throughout and you are sure to cooperate well with them for your child to
learn. Just don’t be stunned when your phone rings to have your child’s teacher
on the other end.
After the end of the first
quarter or grading year, you can either ring the teacher or send a note to
understand how well your child is doing. The teacher by this time will be able
to figure out the strengths, weakness or any other concerns associated with
your child. If you think you will have to talk to them for some cause, make
sure that you tell them either through a note or a call. When you meet them or
call them, make sure that you talk what is needed and to the point so that you
don’t waste their time as there will be more parents in the same way as you
ready to meet the teacher. Always keep value for the time and thoughts of
others.
A good working relationship
between your child and teacher is also very essential. They should have it in
their mind that they can go to the teacher for a solution. Also ensure that
they do so in a very respectful and polite way.
Teachers have the right to get
enough cooperation from the child and if one child fails to do so, the others
will follow the same sequence. When it comes to respect and cooperation, you
can teach your child to be so by telling them to raise their hands when they
have a query, to be silent and attentive in class and so on.
Every year the teacher has
nineteen or more students in a class and along with the parents, the teacher
has to concentrate on more people at the same time. For a better future and
education facility for your child for an excellent future, a good working
relationship with the teacher is very important.
